Twins Gender Reveal Party... A day I will NEVER forget!

Saturday, January 21, 2012 will be a day that I will never forget..

Before we cut into the cakes to reveal the genders of our little blessings (pink for girl, blue for boy).. here I am standing next to our angel, Amanda.. She is a true blessing from above.. and carrying our little miracles...

Braxton loves Amanda and often talks about "the babies in Amanda's tummy".. He was so excited all week for "gender party day".. every morning he'd wake up and say "I can't wait until Saturday so we can see what the babies are!!"

This is the video of the gender party.. I still can't watch this without crying.. what an emotional, overwhelmingly, joyful day! We are so unbelievably blessed!!

Randy, Amanda's husband, is such a wonderful person. He's so supportive of Amanda and our journey.. words can't even express how thankful we are for him. Originally he wanted to wait and be surprised with Rudy & I at the party, but when Amanda found out it was two girls at the ultrasound, she said she had to tell someone!! Five days is a long time to keep that kind of secret.. Especially knowing we were hoping for a girl!!

 Amanda is so crafty! I absolutely love these burp cloths!! I was so surprised.. they are the prettiest burp cloths I've ever seen, lol!! Very special to us..

Never could I have imagined the magnitude that this day would have on us all the way it did. This was a magical day indeed.. It was one of those days you wish you could relive over and over again. I can't even count how many times I've watched the video bawling so I could relive this special moment. I can only imagine the emotions & excitement we will feel the day our little girls are born. We are halfway through our journey and as excited as I am to meet our bundles of joy, I know I'm going to miss each step of this amazing journey.. So I'm doing my best to journal, photograph & video every minute I can, so that I can capture each special moment..

14 weeks already.. we have lemons!

At 11 weeks Amanda texted me an image of her holding two little figs she saw while browsing the produce at the grocery store.. these two little figs represented the size of the twins! We both are subscribed to babycenter.com and we receive alerts on our phone each Saturday when the babies are a week older.. It's fun imagining their size through fruits!

    we have lemons!! The twinks are around 3 1/2 inches long.. :)

Braxton is SO excited about being a big brother!

Braxton is ecstatic about being a big brother!! He can't wait to find out if he's going to have 2 sisters, 2 brothers or one of each.. we'll know in just 2 short weeks!!

Dec. 6, 2011 - Trip to the Gaylord Texan!

On Dec. 6, 2011 we all took a trip to the Gaylord Texan and had a blast! We saw the Ice exhibit, slid down the ice slides, the boys sled down the snow hills, made gingerbread cookies, met Gingy the gingerbread girl, pics with Santa.. the hotel balcony view was unbelievable overlooking the Christmas wonderland.. the next morning was Braxton's 4th birthday.. we had breakfast at the hotel and then headed over to the Grapevine mall & had lunch at the Rainforest cafe! Many memories were made this trip.. little laughs I'll never forget..

Dec. 21, 2011 - 11 week 4 day twin ultrasound!

Sorry I'm so late at updating everyone!

Here is our 11 week 4 day ultrasound from Tuesday, December 21, 2011.. we even had one more quick u/s after this one that day.. it was amazing watching them move around, laying back with their legs crossed.. one of the twins was even waving at us!

Our next ultrasound (15 weeks 3 days) will be very exciting!! It's our gender scan!!! We will find out January 21st.. Can't wait to find out & share the news with everyone!!!!
